Awesome Peruvian food, very casual atmosphere, at good prices. We often get the fried fish, tallarin saltado (chicken) and I have had ceviche. Nice men will adjust any food to your taste. A friend just loved the pesto!
The lucuma chocolate cake is Heaven!
A lot of take out business, so dining area always has room for big groups.
    Indestructible formica decor for kids.
A leasing sign out front,  is to be ignored, the place has a 2 year lease. Business is going strong.

We are huge peruvian fans...we usually go to La Granja, but after reading the great reviews, we gave this place a try.   We walked in and there were no other patrons.

The service was friendly, the food was fresh, but to be honest...it was all somewhat bland.  We had the chicken, fries, salad, beans, fried rice and lomo saltado. The salad had a bottled Italian salad dressing on it, which was not good and I scraped most of it off.  Making a fresh, basic olive oil with vinegar or lemon would be a much tastier option. There are only two yellow sauces offered which were somewhat lemony but very bland...we salted and peppered everything.  The fried rice was very dry and had a heavy ginger taste to it.  There is a  hot sauce if you ask for it, but there is no condiment bar.

Though the establishment looks somewhat clean when you first go in, when you sit down awhile, you realize it's very dirty, the windowsills, the bathrooms, the floors.  It's all very dirty.

I wish this business the best, and if the management is open to corrective criticism...what would help their business is to clean the place thoroughly, freshen up with some paint, and add a condiment bar to enhance the flavors of their food.

Ordered via Uber eats. I had the mix ceviche. I wasn't impressed. Mediocre at its best. (Dr Limon's is so much better) It's missing something. I don't know what tho.
I ordered the skirt steak w/Salad and fries. I'll order that again, however the tomatoes looked soggy.

    Price was decent however.

Great food!  The rotisserie chicken is to die for!
Very moist with great seasoning with a beautiful golden skin.  Mmmmmm!

Unfortunately the ambience inside shows they didn't budget properly for dining in. Uncomfortable and small booths with a few barstools at a central counter plus a standard droning TV set on a sports program comprises the highlights of the place.  Oh-and no designated waitstaff but the friendly counter guy kindly brought the food out to us.

The takeout business was booming as we ate and I counted 4 pickups during that half hour or so.   Note to self: easy pickup after work when I don't feel like cooking.

We will definitely go back to eat again (probably in the next couple of days) and would highly recommend it to our friends. Just don't set your sights on a full dining experience and you'll be happy.

10/17/19  Stopped by my favorite chicken place tonight. Grabbed a whole rotisserie chicken and took it home. I think they must have changed something just a bit because the breast I ate without skin was so full of flavor and so very, very tender.
Oh what a delight to the taste buds!

I been wanting to try this Spanish restaurant every since I read the amazing Yelp reviews. I will be honest and say that I was never interested in going there and every time I passed this place it was also empty so that didn't help influence my decision to stop and try this place. But after reading so many good reviews on Yelp on how good their food is I decided to give it a try.

I would like to say that I knew the restaurant before Gordo's Grill which was New York Wing & Sub. I was shocked when this restaurant decided to move. I must say that New York Wing & Sub keep the interior of the restaurant beautiful and it was always clean and presentable. Now walking in the restaurant as Gordo's Grill this restaurant appears to be a dumb in the inside compared to how New York Wing & Sub kept it up. I hate to judge but this restaurant is being ran poorly and it sadden me how this place went down because I knew how kept up the other ownership keep it.

This restaurant had no AC and I sweated inside with two small dusty fans that was blowing. The dishes haven't been washed so I was looking at dirty plates and a overloaded garbage can. The employee door was all torn down at the bottom. The bathroom was filthy and haven't been cleaned. I couldn't even take using the restroom at this place.

While sitting down eating I watched flies flew all around and I had to constantly fan away the flies from my food. I also watched a lot of homeless walked in and out of the restaurant.

Food thoughts: Overall food taste was good. I can say they season their food very well and I enjoyed it. I ordered the rotisserie chicken with fried rice and plantains. The chicken wasn't really cleaned inside which turned me off but the flavor was perfect. The fried rice was very flavorful but the only issue was it had too much egg in it for me. And the plantains was just right. Their drinks are a little pricey so I chose not to get one. For two plates my food came up to about $15

Customer service: It was pretty good. The guy was nice and had patient while ordering. He brought over silverware and sauces. And brought over my food and ask if their is anything I needed. He said he was going to refill the water for me to drink but he never did. Considering everyone inside is latin and Im not... I closely watch for the customer service treatment. And I can say I wasn't treated no differently.

I went on Cinco De Mayo so the restaurant was more busier than normal it seem but the service was still good. I also noticed that this restaurant has no take out plates and instead when carrying out food they put a plate on top of another plate which was very shocking for a restaurant to operate like that. I will probably visit again but not anytime soon. Hopefully by then this restaurant can get more funds to renovate and spend more on their restaurant.
